Assam CM Inaugurates BJP Mandal Office in Sarbhog

Guwahati, 29th February: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Sarbhog on February 29 to inaugurate the newly constructed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mandal office building. The ceremony witnessed the presence of BJP Assam State President Bhabesh Kalita, along with senior ministers Ranjit Kumar Das and Ranoj Pegu.

Warmly welcomed by the people of Barnahar, Chief Minister Sarma was greeted with flowers and the traditional dhole-dagar, reflecting the enthusiastic reception from the local community. The vibrant atmosphere set the stage for the inauguration of the BJP’s state-of-the-art Mandal office.

In his address, Chief Minister Sarma underscored the distinctiveness of the BJP’s decision-making process, contrasting it with the Congress party. He emphasized the transparent and inclusive nature of the BJP’s policy formulation, noting that decisions are made in their temple-like party office, free from the nepotism often associated with the Congress.

“The policy of the Congress party is decided in the drawing room of a family. But the BJP is free from the nepotism system,” stated the Chief Minister. He highlighted the diverse leadership lineage of the BJP, citing prominent figures such as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, LK Advani, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, and JP Nadda, who emerged from varied backgrounds.

The inauguration of the Mandal office marked a significant milestone for the BJP in Sarbhog, symbolizing their commitment to transparent and inclusive governance. The newly constructed office serves as a testament to the party’s dedication to fostering a democratic and open decision-making process.
