Assam CM Takes Action After Golaghat SP’s Controversial Conduct at Kaziranga National Park

Guwahati, 22nd December: Following the allegations of Golaghat SP Rajen Singh misusing his power at Kaziranga National Park, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma immediately addressed the situation.

Sarma engaged with Assam’s Director General of Police, GP Singh, expressing his concerns about the incident involving the Superintendent of Police.

The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of humility in public servants and disapproved of any display of arrogance.

Earlier reports revealed that Golaghat SP Rajen Singh demanded tickets for an elephant safari, leading to the detention of a forest official who couldn’t provide them due to unavailability.

Sarma’s intervention underscores his commitment to maintaining the integrity and conduct of public servants in the state.
