Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s Mother and older brother were reportedly involved into a car accident on Monday at Jagiroad on the outskirts of Guwahati city.
According to reports, a speeding Scorpio car allegedly hit their vehicle and then took off before being caught.
Thankfully, the CM’s mother, Mrinalini Devi and brother Diganta Biswa Sarma are safe and sustain any injuries.
The mother-son duo was travelling to Diphu in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district to attend a celebration when the accident took place.
Meanwhile, local police arrived at the location and assessed the situation.
