Guwahati: A 44-year-old man has been found dead under mysterious circumstances in Golaghat district of Assam on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Akramul Hussain alias Dulu who is a resident of Naharani Mazgaon in Dergaon town of the district.
The dead body was recovered from the Barua Bamun Gaon village of the town.
His body was reportedly wrapped with a tree creeper around the neck, despite the fact that both of his legs were on the ground.
As per the sources of MyNewsNE, Hussain had gone missing on March 20.
Meanwhile, locals suspect that there is a mystery behind the incident.
However, the deceased has been sent to Golaghat for post-mortem and further investigation into the matter is underway.
