Guwahati: Four students of an educational institution of a government school in southern Assam’s Karimganj district were suspended for making a reel on social media.
All the students were studying in Class VIII standard.
The incident occurred after a video of four Latu Model Higher Secondary School students dancing to a well-known Hindi item song went viral on social media.
As per the school principal, Biswajyoti Dey a committee has been constituted to inquire into the matter.
The students will also continue to be suspended until the committee has finished its investigation and submitted a report.
