The Chairperson of State Executive Committee of the Disaster Management Authority Assam do hereby issues the following directives which will remain in force from 5 AM of June 16, 2021 till 5 AM of June 22 2021
A. Containment Zones- for Urban and Rural areas:
Incase the test positivity of COVID-19 in any area reaches 5% or more in case of urban areas and 10% or more in case of rural areas in the last one week, District Magistrate will notify such areas as containment zone and ensure necessary containment measures for COVID-19 as envisaged in MoHFW.
B. Night Curfew:
- Curfew timing will be from 2 pm instead of 1pm at Kamrup Metro.
Curfew timing in South Salmara, Majuli, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Udalguri, West Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao, Charaideu will be from 5 pm.
C. Shops and Markets:
- Markets, Shops, Government and public Offices, Dhaba, Restaurant will be open till 4 pm in South Salmara, Majuli, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Udalguri, West Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao and Charaideu.
- South Salmara, Majuli, Bongaigaon, Chirang, Udalguri, West Karbi Anglong, Dima Hasao and Charaideu the rest of the districts except these all the Shops, Markets and Offices will have to shut down at 12 pm.
- If it will not be controlled by June 21 the rules will be stricter in Cachar, Tinisukia, Nagaon, Dibrugarh, Sonitpur.
- All those who are fully vaccinated should have to resume office.
- Pregnant Women, Mother of Children below 5 years and Physically Challenged people can work from home.
D. Public Transport:
- Inter-District travel will remain close till June 22.
- Pillion riding will be totally prohibited in two wheelers except with women and children.
E. Educational Institute:
- All education institutions will remain close till June 22.
