Guwahati: A major fire broke out in Dibrugarh district of Assam on Tuesday in which one house was completely gutted.
The fire broke out in the house of one Dinesh Kumar who is the deputy commissioner of Dibrugarh.
The incident occurred in the backyard of Kendriya Vidyalaya Dibrugarh in Chowkidingee.
Meanwhile, the cause of the fire has not been ascertained.
Several fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire.
As per reports, fire tenders are struggling to bring the flames under control.
Moreover, the fire is said to have caused at least two cylinder explosions.
However, no casualties have been reported so far.
