Assam: Huge Consignment busted, 2 arrested in Guwahati
Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs Assam Police busted a drug racket and arrested arrested two suspected drug peddlers with a huge consignment in Guwahati.
The two arrestees were identified as Khangembam Mangi Singh (43) and Shagolsem Manglemjao Singh (32). Both are the residents of Thoubal district in Manipur.
The Guwahati Police launched an operation against drugs at Tollgate, Sonapur and recovered a huge consignment of drugs including 4.6 lakh Yaba tablet, 12 KG Meth and 1.5 KG of Heroin from the accused.
Moreover, the market value of the recovered consignment is around Rs 130 crore.
Legal action initiated and further investigation is underway.
