Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs Assam Police seized a huge quantity of drugs and arrested three suspects in Assam’s Nagaon district.
The three accused were identified as Ankur Saikia, Himangshu Baruah and Safikul Islam.
As per the sources the three accused were consuming drugs in a Swift car at the Gadkaptani road in the Batadrava village when the locals caught them and hand over to police officials. The police officials seized 16 containers filled with drugs from their possession.
Moreover, the car is registered with the number AS 02 AD 6500 and the officials further seized the car for investigation.
It amy be mentioned that a legal action has been intiated into the matter and further investigation is on.
