Guwahati: In a shocking incident, a newly married couple allegedly committed suicide at their residence in the Nalbari district of Assam.
The incident took place in the Malupara area of Chamata under Belsor police station of the district.
The deceased couple identified Mridul Thakuria and Rupali Thakuria.
As per the sources of MyNewsNE, the bodies of the couple were recovered from their bathroom in the evening hours on Wednesday.
Reportedly, Mridul Thakuri worked as a tailor to run his five-member family.
It needs to be noted that the incident has startled the family members and residents in the area because no specific justification has been given as to why both took such drastic measures.
