Guwahati: A massive fire broke out at Dumunichawki in Darrang district of Assam on Sunday night.
The incident took place at around 7 pm. Several housed were gutted as a result of the fire.
The fire broke out due to cylinder explosion at the instance of Mahim Ali who is truck driver. Property worth around lakhs destroyed in the incident.
However, no causality reported in the incident.
Meanwhile, local MLA Parmanand Rajvanshi went to the incident location and assured to give special assistance to the affected families.
