Guwahati: Assam Police arrested one person reportedly for running Teer racket in Guwahati on Saturday.
The accused has been arrested while conducting a raid against a Teer gambling racket in the Adabari Tiniali of the city.
The police personnel recovered 39 Teer betting books, 31 teer tickets.
The officials further recovered an amount total of Rs 64,940 from his possession.
The news was shared by the official Instagram account of the Guwahati police.
The Guwahati police posted, “A WGPD team from Jalukbari PS arrested one Arun Choudhari of Sankar Nagar for running a Teer gambling racket at Adabari Tiniali today. A total of 39 Teer betting books, 31 tickets & ₹64,940/- in cash were recovered from his possession.”

Legal action has been initiated and further investigation is underway.
