Assam: One died on spot in accident at Charaideo
Guwahati: A woman has been killed in a road accident in Charaideo district of Assam on Thursday.
The incident took place in Sonari town of the district.
As per the sources of MyNewsNE, a dumper vehicle filled with coal hit her in the Abhaypur area resulting the death on the spot.
The dumper vehicle is registered with the number AS 04 BC 3277.
Later, the driver of the dumper lost control over the vehicle and crashed on the road.
It was further reported that the dumper was carrying coal from Nimonagarh to Bhojo (BOJ) Railway Station of the Sivasagar district.
In a similar incident yesterday, a man died on the spot in Zoo Road area of Guwahati.
The person was identified as Dwijen Baishya and was an employee of Apollo Hospital.
A water tank vehicle hit him in front of the City Center shopping mall resulting the death of Baishya on the spot.
The water tank vehicle is registered with the number AS 01 AA 1251
It has been further reported that Baishya was a resident of Nalbari and he was residing in Guwahati in a rent house.
It may be mentioned that locals claimed that the driver of the water tank vehicle was drunk because of which he lost the control over the vehicle that the speeding vehicle ran over the person who died.
