Guwahati: Dead body of an elderly woman was found in a mysterious condition in Assam’s Morigaon district.
The body was recovered from the Nabheti village of the district.
The deceased has been identified Ilamai Bardoloi.
According to reports, 65-year-old Bardoloi’s body was found in a mysterious condition inside her house.
Moreover, the local people suspected that Bordoloi’s brother Rajen Bordoloi killed her.
Meanwhile, the Morigaon’s Sadar Police officials reached the spot and recovered the body from her residence, Later the body was sent to Morigaon Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
However, the police officials on the basis of the locals claimed detained brother, Rajen Bordoloi but there are no official claims by the police.
It may be mentioned that the whole incident will come to light only after the police investigation completed into the matter.
On the other hand, today morning one more dead body of a 19-year-old girl was recovered under in a pond in Morigaon district today.
The body was recovered from the Guripathar village in Jagiroad of the district.
In this case the deceased was identified as Pooja Das and she was a resident of the same village.
Reports claimed that she was missing from yesterday and today the locals recovered her body from a pond near her residence.
Meanwhile, the locals are demanding a fare investigation into the matter to the police and to take exemplary action against the perpetrators of the crime.
