Guwahati: Massive fire broke out in Hailakandi district of Assam on Sunday night.
The incident occurred at South Hailakandi Gharmura bazar of the district.
More than 20 shops gutted and property worth around 30 lacks burnt to ashes in the heavy fire.
Meanwhile, the locals vandalise fire brigade truck in anger as it took more than three hours to reach the place and down the fire.
It may be mentioned that the reason behind the incident is suspected to be an electric short circuit.
