Guwahati, 5th August: The body of Buddheshwar Gogoi, a security guard, was discovered in a bloodied condition inside the canteen of the Sivasagar post office on August 5.
Gogoi, who was responsible for the post office’s security during the night shift, was found dead with indications pointing towards a possible murder. He was a resident of Bhatiapar in Sivasagar.
Local police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Officers are currently collecting evidence and reconstructing the events leading up to Gogoi’s death.
The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, with the results pending. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to uncover the circumstances surrounding the case.
