Guwahati, 17th September: In a shocking and bizarre incident, a man allegedly attempted to take the life of his wife in the middle of the road in Dibrugarh district of Assam. The incident unfolded near the Bokul bypass road in Dibrugarh on Sunday, as reported.
Eyewitnesses at the scene recounted a horrifying sequence of events, wherein the man, identified as Krishna Kanta Nath, reportedly kicked his wife, Vaishali Baishya, out of a moving car with apparent intent to harm her. The couple was traveling from Dibrugarh’s Dikom area towards Guwahati when this alarming incident occurred.
Local residents swiftly intervened and managed to rescue the woman from further harm. The accused husband, Krishna Kanta Nath, was subsequently detained by the police, pending further investigation into this shocking and distressing episode.
