Guwahati: In a horrific incident, a mother was hacked to death by her son in Morigaon district of Assam.
The incident occurred at Mayong’s Murbari village of the district.
According to reports, the accused son identified as Narayan Nath who allegedly killed his mother by hacking her to death with an axe.
The deceased woman identified as 52-year-old Jogmai Devi.
Local police arrived on the spot after the incident and arrested Nath.
After a thorough inquiry, the cause of the escalation will be determined, according to the police.
It is also revealed that the accused previously burned to death his wife in addition to committing murder.
