Assam: Spotted wandering deer rescued in Nagaon

Guwahati: A spotted deer was rescued after it was chased by dogs in Nagaon district of Assam on Friday morning.

The locals of Dighaliati village in Raha Tehsil spotted the deer first wandering along a village road in the area.

According to reports, when other people saw the animal, they alerted the local Village Defence Team.

Upon receiving the information, the local Village Defence Team informed the police officials and rescued the deer.

However, it is yet to be ascertained that from how and where the deer reached the village.
