Assam: Three Bikers Killed In Head-On Collision With Truck in Dhubri
Guwahati, 18 May: As many as three bikers were tragically killed on Thursday after being struck by a speeding truck at Belguri in Dhubri district of Assam. According to reports, the trio was triple riding when they were struck by a truck on the National Highway. All three of them died on spot.
Notably, none of the youth who died were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
After the incident, a small group of people gathered near the accident scene and called the police.
The deceased’s identities have not yet been determined.
A head-on collision between a Bolero pickup van and a dumper truck on National Highway 115 at Bokapathar in Assam’s Sadiya district recently resulted in the deaths of three members of a Nepali family and critical injuries to another two.
The deceased persons have been identified as Binod Sonar (Father), Dalmaya Sonar (Mother), Dil Bahadur Sonar (Son).
Initial reports state that the family arrived in Sadiya on Monday morning from Nepal. They were travelling to Sadiya to attend a relative’s wedding.
