Assam: Three Residents of Kokrajhar Among Casualties in Kanchanjungha Express Train Collision

Guwahati, 17th June: In the aftermath of the tragic train collision involving the Kanchanjungha Express near New Jalpaiguri on June 17, three individuals from Kokrajhar district in Assam have been confirmed among the casualties.

The victims have been identified as Bipin Chandra Ray (47), Dipak K Rabha (36), and Amrish Singh (35), who were passengers aboard the ill-fated train when it collided with a goods train near New Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. The collision resulted in significant disruptions to railway services and prompted extensive rescue operations currently underway.
