The victims, identified as Rahim Ali, Mutleb Ali, Hamzuddin, Jamal Khan, and Afsar Azam, were rushed to the hospital in critical condition but succumbed to their injuries shortly thereafter.

Eyewitnesses at the scene have raised serious allegations against the factory authorities, accusing them of attempting to cover up the incident. These accusations have sparked concerns about workplace safety and transparency within the factory. As a result, authorities and labor rights organizations are demanding a thorough investigation and accountability from the factory management.

In another incident, a truck transporting approximately 300 gas-filled cylinders crashed on National Highway 17 in Assam’s Jogighopa. The truck, traveling at high speed, lost control and collided with a highway divider, resulting in a significant accident.

The impact caused a chaotic scene, with the truck driver and handyman sustaining injuries. Jogighopa police promptly arrived at the site to manage the situation and provide assistance to the injured individuals. The collision also displaced the highway divider, underscoring a recurring issue that contributes to frequent accidents on this stretch of the highway.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding both incidents to ensure safety measures are upheld and to prevent such tragedies in the future.
