Assam: Two drug peddlers arrested in Tinsukia
Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs Assam Police arrested two suspected drug peddlers in the Tinsukia district.
The arrestee was identified as Biplab Chakraborty. However, the identification of the other accused is yet to be ascertained.
The police officials recovered around 101 grams of suspected brown sugar from their possession.

Similarly, in Nagaon district on Friday arrested one more person in connection with drugs.
The accused was identified as Jahirul Islam and he is a resident of Panbari, Dhing.
An amount of total of 45 grams of suspected heroin was recovered from him.

Legal action has been taken in both the matter by the Assam Police and further investigation is underway.
