Guwahati: Assam Police arrested two people after huge quantity of drugs and pistol was recovered from them in Laharighat of Morigaon district on Friday.
The arrested persons have been identified as Zakaria Alom and Anwar Hussain.
As per reports, they were apprehended in front of Borchala Police Station.
During the investigation, 16 containers of drugs along with one country-made pistol have been seized by the police officials.
Further investigations are underway.
