Guwahati, 9th June: In a shocking incident, another mysterious dead body has been recovered in a petrol pump toilet in Tinsukia district of Assam, escalating concerns about rising crime rates in the state.
The half-decomposed body was found in the toilet of Assam Agency petrol pump on Makum road in Tinsukia district.
As per sources, the body was recovered by a sanitation worker of the petrol pump.
However, the identity of the body is yet to be ascertained.
Upon receiving information, police officials immediately arrived at the spot and recovered the body and sent it for postmortem examination.
Moreover, an injection suspected to be linked to drug-related activities was reportedly found near the body, deepening the enigma surrounding the incident.
Notably, police officials have launched an investigation into the incident.
