Guwahati: A youth goes missing after leaving his Demow house to meet with someone about a job opportunity in Dibrugarh.
According to reports, the youth has been reported missing since March 22.
The missing youth have been identified as Jintu Chetia, a resident of Ushapur village in the Demow district of Dibrugarh.
It is quiet shocking to learn that the youth’s mobile phone was found switched off after he uploaded a mobile status on his WhatsApp saying, “I will miss everyone”.
The youth’s parents were worried that he may have joined the banned terrorist group ULFA-I.
The parents have also filed a missing case in connection to the incident.
Notably, there have been previous allegations of youth from the state were suspected of joining the prohibited group for a number of different reasons.
