Guwahati: Renowned Assamese poet Nilamani Phukan Passes away on Thursday.
The veteran poet was suffering from respiratory problems.
He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at GMCH’s ventilation at around 11.55am.
The poet’s health deteriorated further since Tuesday and was undergoing treatment.
