Guwahati, 16th September: A surprise visit by Dr. Om Prakash, the Mission Director of Sarva Shiksha, to Fakuagram Higher Secondary School in Karimganj has led to significant administrative action. Following his inspection on September 15, Dr. Prakash identified several irregularities at the school, prompting swift measures.
In response to the findings, the principal of Fakuagram Higher Secondary School has been suspended, and a show-cause notice was issued to 11 teachers, including the Cluster Resource Coordinator (CRC). Dr. Prakash later held a meeting with district education officials to discuss the discrepancies uncovered during his inspection.
The incident has raised concerns about the quality of education management in the region, highlighting the need for reforms and accountability in the system. Authorities are now awaiting responses from the teachers regarding the issues found, as the investigation into the matter continues.
