The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has decided to cancel it’s club base T20 league Bangladesh Premier League tournament for the ongoing COVID Pandemic. The BCB President Nazmul Hasan has announced the decision that the BPL would not be held due to the huge community transmission of COVID in Bangladesh.
The BCB President said “BPL is not happening this year, because whenever there is talk of BPL, there must be foreign cricketers. The BCB chief also ruled out the possibility of shifting the tournament in a foreign land, just like the Indian Premier League which is currently being held closed-doors in the UAE.”
