BJP Appoints Sarbananda Sonowal as Central Observer for Chhattisgarh
National, 8th December: Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has been appointed as a member of the Central Observer team for Chattisgarh by the Parliamentary Board, tasked with overseeing the election of the Legislative Assembly leader.
In a recent development, the BJP appointed central observers for the selection of chief ministers in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh. Following approval from the party’s Parliamentary Board, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Saroj Pandey, and National General Secretary Vinod Tawde have been appointed as central observers for Rajasthan.
In the case of Madhya Pradesh, the responsibility falls on Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, along with OBC Morcha National President K. Laxman and National Secretary Asha Lakra.
As for Chhattisgarh, Union Tribal Minister Arjun Munda, Union Ports, Shipping, Waterways, and AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, along with National General Secretary Dushyant Kumar Gautam, have been named central observers.
