BJP Wins From Lumla Seat in Arunachal’s By-Polls

Guwahati: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won the by-elections in Arunachal Pradesh as its candidate Tsering Lhamu won the Lumla seat handily on March 2.

Following the passing of BJP leader Jambey Tashi, the saffron party put Tsering on the ballot for the February 27 by-election in Lumla, Arunachal Pradesh.

According to reports, a total of 9,169 electorates cast their ballots, 4,712 of whom were women. These women voted in 33 polling places.
