Guwahati: An additional gazette officer received a notice from the Biplap Kumar Sharma Commission on Monday regarding APSC recruitment.
The Superintendent of Taxes Ganpati Roy has been named as the officer and he has been ordered to appear before the commission within 15 days.
Roy has been charged with obtaining the position illegally.
He is employed in Haflong’s Hagjer Nagar.
Two gazette officers, DSP Bhanita Nath and Superintendent of Excise Manavi Das were given a court appearance deadline of 15 days by the commission in December of last year.
DSP Nath was accused of obtaining the APS position unfairly while Excise Superintendent Das was accused of the same thing.
Numerous pieces of information were provided to the BK Sharma Commission and it was on this basis that the two officers were served with notices.
