Guwahati: The primary suspect in the cold-blooded murder Bondona Kalita suddenly became ill while she was being taken to Dawki in Meghalaya on Tuesday to look for the remains of her mother-in-law and husband.
She is being brought back to Guwahati as a result for a checkup at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
The accused was transported earlier today to Dawki, Meghalaya, to look for the body parts of her husband and mother-in-law that were missing.
The primary suspect Bondona Kalita is suspected of helping her lover and another accomplice murder her husband Amarjyoti Dey and mother-in-law Shankari Dey. They divided the bodies into smaller pieces and kept them chilled before disposing of the individuals’ remnants which they scattered over the neighbouring state of Meghalaya. The incident is said to have occurred a few months ago.
