Guwahati: In a sensational incident, a brother-sister duo was allegedly hacked to death by unidentified miscreants on Wednesday night in Bongaigaon district of Assam.
The incident was reported from Durgamari village of the district.
The deceased duo has been identified as Ajmal Sheikh and Firoza Begum.
Information indicates that the criminals broke into their home last night and attacked the duo, resulting in their deaths.
The reason for their alleged murder is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, local police reached the spot and recovered the bodies for post-mortem.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
