Brutal Murder Of Transport Manager In Uttar Pradesh
Guwahati: A man was brutally murdered on suspicion of theft in Shahjahanpur of Uttar Pradesh.
The deceased has been identified as Shivam Johri.
It may be recalled that Shivam Johri had worked as a manager in the suri transportation of Azizganj Mohalla in Chowk Kotwali area of Shahjahanpur for the last seven years.
Shivam Johri worked as a manager in transport was found dead at the hospital. The family members could see injury marks on his body. Recently a video of the youth being brutally beaten up like a Talibani has gone viral on social media.
In the video, Shivam was seen tied to an iron pole and a youth brutally beat him up with a stick. It is also alleged that after being beaten up, electric shock on his neck and hung upside down. Shivam Johari died after being brutally beaten up.
According to police, Shivam’s body was dumped at the hospital on Tuesday night.
According to the victim’s family members, he died of electrocution. When a police officer examined the body at the hospital, he noticed injuries disproportionate to the claims of electrocution and started an investigation.
Shivam had been working with transporter Bankim Suri for the past seven years. Recently, a package of prominent businesses Kanhiya Hossieri was lost. Several employees of the transporters were attacked on suspicion of theft.
Shivam’s father alleged that his son was beaten to death on suspicion of stealing clothes. He has lodged an FIR against seven persons including two businessmen.
Notably, the police have detained several persons and have started questioning them.
The family has accused several people, including Neeraj Shivam Gupta the owner of Kanhaiya Hojri in Sadar Bazar police station’s Sadar Bazar area and several others including accountants behind the death of Shivam Johri.
