Bus overturns in UP’s Etawah, 30 labours injured
National Desk, 22 June: As many as 30 labours were injured after a bus overturned on Thursday morning on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway in Etawah.
According to reports, 80 labourers were aboard after a bus full of labourers on its way from Shravasti to Gujarat overturned.
According to reports, the accident occurred under police station Chaubia in the Etawah district near the milestone 113-kilometer on the Agra Lucknow Expressway.
“The bus, which had 80 workmen on board, was travelling from Shravasti to Gujarat. Thirty workers suffered injuries in these. The injured are undergoing treatment in Saifai Medical College. There are no significant injuries. The accident took place as the driver fell asleep,” according to Circle Officer Saifai Nagendra Kumar Choubey.
All of the injured have been sent to Saifai Medical College for treatment where they are all receiving treatment.
The police arrived at the scene as soon as they had recieved information about the occurrence and started their investigation.
