Co-Actor Sheezan Khan Sent to 4-Day Police Custody In Tunisha Sharma Death Case

Guwahati: A Vasai court in Maharashtra on Sunday sent actor Sheezan Khan to police custody for four days in connection with a possible suicide case of TVStar Tunisha Sharma on Sunday.

The Mumbai Police claimed that Tunisha Sharma’s suspected extreme action that claimed her life may have been motivated by her separation with Sheezan Khan more than a fortnight prior. Sheezan Khan was Tunisha Sharma’s co-star.

“Sheezan Khan has been sent to custody for 4 days. Police don’t have any evidence as yet. Allegations are put against him. Further probe is yet to be conducted,” Sheezan Khan’s advocate said.

The accused Sheezan Khan was brought before the Vasai Court earlier in the day by Waliv police.

After Sheezan was charged with aiding suicide under Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, he was taken into custody.

Tunisha Sharma was discovered dead on a television set on Saturday. She had reportedly barricaded herself in a restroom while taking a tea break.

Police discovered the 21-year-old hanging and dead when they got at the scene and tore open the bathroom door.

The actress went to the restroom following the tea break, the Waliv Police claim, and when she didn’t return, they smashed down the door and discovered the actress hanging.

The two performers were in a relationship that ended 15 days ago, according to the First Information Report, or FIR of the case.

The Mumbai police claimed that Tunisha Sharma was under stress which is thought to be what pushed her over the brink.

Tunisha’s lifeless remains were carried to the JJ Hospital in Naigaon where a post-mortem was performed around 1:30 am on Sunday.
