Guwahati: In a shocking and sensational incident, the body of a Congress worker was allegedly found hanging in Guwahati on Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Raju Prasad Sharma a middle-aged man found hanging beside the premises of Nabagraha Mandir.
According to reports, Sharma was found hanging by a wall beside the mandir premises.
On getting information, Chandmari police reached the spot to take stock of the situation.
Meanwhile, the exact reason behind the death of the victim is yet to be ascertained.
Further investigation is underway.
