Guwahati: The Assam Legislative Assembly’s winter session has begun beginning on Tuesday at 9.30 am.
The government will present at least 12 bills, including a repeal bill, during the session which will take place from December 20 to 24.
15 measures were introduced earlier in the autumn session out of which 11 were amendment bills, 2 were repeal bills and 2 were new bills.
The Assam Aerial Ropeways Bill and the Assam Unified Metropolitan Transport Authority Bill were the two new laws that were introduced in 2022.
The session started on September 12 and continued till September 19.
