Guwahati: Sheezan Khan, the accused in the suicide of Tunisha Sharma, was sent in police custody for two days on Wednesday by the Vasai Court.
Sheezan was presented to the court earlier today by the Waliv police, who sought to have his remand extended.
It should be noted that Sheezan’s police custody was meant to end today. However, the police did not finish questioning him or doing their investigation with him, so they attempted to extend his remand.
It is important to note that the Waliv Police have interviewed 18 people so far regarding the death of Tunisha Sharma, who was thought to have committed suicide.
On the set of her ongoing television programme Alibaba – Dastaan-e-Kabul on Saturday, Tunisha was discovered dead. Sheezan Khan, her ex-boyfriend and fellow cast member from the show, was arrested on suspicion of aiding suicide the following day.
According to reports, Khan and Tunisha split up 15 days before she committed herself. Sharma reportedly underwent hospitalisation for anxiety problems a few months back. Around 2018, the actress also experienced anxiety and sadness.
The Police began to look into the WhatsApp conversations between Sheezan Khan and deceased Tunisha Sharma in order to ascertain the details of what actually happened between the two during Tunisha’s final moments.
The police claim to have recovered communications totaling 250 to 300 pages from June to current December in an effort to determine the true cause of the Alibaba – Dastaan-e-Kabul singers’ breakup.
The police added that they would contact WhatsApp via electronic mail to retrieve the erased conversations between Sheezan and his “hidden girlfriend.”
Moreover, according to the police, they intend to question Sheezan today regarding these deleted chats that he reportedly had with his “secret girlfriend.” The police want to know why Sheezan had to erase them if there was nothing offensive in the talks.
The authorities are looking into why Sheezan deleted his talks with just one female and will also look into whether or not they were connected to Tunisha’s death.

Her fans, family and members of the television and film industry bid a teary farewell to the 20-year-old Tunisha at the Mira Road crematorium ground in Mumbai. Celebrities including Vishal Jethwa, Ashnoor Kaur, Avneet Kaur, and Shivin Narang and others attended Tunisha’s funeral.
