Guwahati: At least four notorious criminals were apprehended during Assam Police operation in Guwahati on Sunday.
According to reports, the city police conducted operations against criminals in a number of sites including Noonmati, Satgaon, Panikhaiti, Gorchuk and so on and they were successful in apprehending the notorious offenders.
The arrested criminals have been identified as Pankaj Das, Biswajit Tumung and Biplap Das.
The police seized a number of stuff including a revolver, 12 motorcycles that had been reported stolen, 13 cell phones and several unsavoury documents.
Meanwhile, the police also arrested one woman drug peddler from Bharalumukh.
The police seized 40 grams heroin and 40kg cannabis from her possession.
The city police have been conducting many operations in the city over the past several days to stop criminal activity and apprehend those responsible for crimes.
