CRPF jawan opens fire on fellows in Chhattisgarh

Guwahati: A CRPF jawan opened fire on fellow soldiers in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district.

According to reports, a soldier named Reetesh Ranjan started a fire on fellow troops in the wee hours in the CRPF 50th battalion’s camp in Linganpalli village, under the Maraiguda police station.

In the incident, at least four soldiers were killed and three got severely injured and were rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

It was also reported that the jawan was arrested and further investigation into the matter is on.
