Delhi LG Anil Baijal Resigns, alleges Personal Reasons

Guwahati: Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Anil Baijal stepped down from the position and submitted his resignation on Wednesday.

Baijal tendered his resignation citing personal reasons.

He addressed his resignation letter to President Ram Nath Kovind.

Baijal was appointed the 21st Delhi LG in December 2016. The post of Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has a definite term.

It may be mentioned that Baijal had been at odds with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over a number of governance issues.
