Delhi: Two month old infant found dead in microwave oven
New Delhi: A two-month-old infant was reportedly found dead inside a microwave oven in the Chirag Dilli area of South Delhi, report said.
According to the Commissioner of Police, the infant was found inside the microwave oven by a neighbour.
According to reports, Gulshan Kaushik and Dimple Kaushik, the infant parents, are being questioned at the police station, and an investigation is underway.
“We learned of the baby’s death about 3.15 p.m., and all probable angles are being investigated”, Commissioner said.
The baby was born in January of this year, and Dimple has been distraught since her birth, even fighting with her husband about it.
The neighbour also told the police that Dimple had allegedly locked herself in the house, which prompted the mother-in-law to raise an alarm.
It may be mentioned that as per the neighbour, when they broke glass and entered the room, they found the mother lying unconscious with the son, while the infant was missing. The mother-in-law along with some other people searched the entire house and allegedly found the baby inside a microwave oven, which was in a room on the second floor of their house.
