Dhing Express Hima Das has failed to qualify in the 100 M event at Tokyo Olympics. In a qualifying round the sprinter went on a ‘false start’ which led to disqualification from the event. The Federation Cup is currently being held at the SAI Centre in Patiala where Hima Das participated in the 100 M event.
However, Hima Das is still in contention for the 200 M event and will take part in the event after a while. In order to qualify she have to achieve the qualifying timing in the 200 M event.
