Guwahati: Dhubri Police arrested at least five miscreants for attacking a police team in the district on Monday.
According to the reports, the miscreants attacked the police personnel when they went to investigate a case in the Adabari area of the district.
The reports further claimed that the police team was attacked with sharp weapons like machetes and also damaged their vehicles.
It may be mentioned that after the incident Dhubri police along with CRPF launched a search operation against the accused in the area and arrested five miscreants in the case.
The needs to be mentioned that the accused were taken to the police station and further investigation is underway.
