Guwahati: A youth was killed in a paragliding accident in Tinsukia district of Assam on Wednesday.
The incident took place at Skyland resort near Dibru river in Guijan.
The deceased has been identified as Pankaj Gogoi and he is a resident of Lakhimpur.
According to reports, Gogoi was declared death while he was sent to a hospital in Dibrugarh for treatment.
Reports further claimed that the Skyland resort was illegally constructed by two persons.
It may be mentioned that the resort had been forced to close by the district administration, but the proprietors kept it open for visitors.
