Disturbing Incident in West Bengal: Two Women Paraded Half-Naked and Assaulted in Mob Attack
National Desk, 22nd July: Following the recent viral video of two women paraded naked by a mob in Manipur, another harrowing visual emerges from West Bengal’s Malda, where two women were subjected to a similar half-naked parade and assault in broad daylight.
Sources claim that the horrible occurrence took place about three to four days ago in Pakuahat, Malda, when the two women were accused of stealing by the villagers. After seizing the victims, the mob severely beat and stripped them while being caught on tape.
The disturbing video depicts several women participating in the assault against the accused women, while no official complaint has been lodged with the West Bengal Police at this time. The police were reportedly unaware of the incident until the video went viral, drawing widespread outrage.
