DRI Recovers Heroin Worth Rs 40 Cr at Mumbai Airport

Guwahati: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) discovered 8 kilogrammes of heroin worth Rs 40 crores on the black market and arrested two foreign citizens at the Mumbai airport.

DRI Customs reports that on Sunday, at the Mumbai Airport DRI agents arrested two foreign individuals who were carrying drugs worth Rs 40 crores.

The team set up a trap and arrested the suspects to question them after receiving information that two passengers were planning to travel to Mumbai to carry drugs. When the police searched their bags, they discovered two packages of white powder each weighing 4 kg which were later determined to be heroin.
