Guwahati: Education minister of Assam Ranoj Pegu on Wednesday made a sudden visit to two educational institutes in Bajali district of Assam.
He went to the district’s Bhawanipur Higher Secondary School and Bajali Higher Secondary School.
During his visit, Pegu warned journalists in the guise of teachers and that action will be taken against those accused of doing journalism as a teacher.
Meanwhile, the education minister declared that Bajali Higher Secondary School will become a model institution and that work on the new structure would soon begin.
The dates for the Higher Secondary examination were revealed earlier today by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC). The last high school exam will start on February 20 and end in March 20.
The practical examination will be performed from January 25 to February 15.
